Management and WG-meetings in
Larnaca
COST 733 had a
very succesful three day meeting in Larnca, Cyprus 15-17-October
2009. The meeting was held perfect atmospheric and social conditions.
Large progress was i all WGs was reported. The Action is doing well,
and is progressing according to schedule. The main outcome of the
meeting was templates for the final dissemination of the Action,
plans that will be followed up at the next MC and WG--meetings in
Tartu, Estonia 22-24.March 2010.
Successful Mid-term

The
COST733 mid-term conference was successfully organised at the Jagiellonian
University in Cracow, Poland 22-25.October 2008. More than 100 scientists
from 30 countries attended the conference, giving 88 presentations (40 oral
presentations and 48 posters) within 10 sessions giving a broad overview of
recent developments in weather and circulation type classifications and
applications. COST 733 results and achievements were highlighted as well as
invited key note presentations covering all aspect of weather and
circulation type classifications and applications.
