C733 MCM8 INformation

COST 733 MCM8 Larnaca, CYPRUS, 15-17.Oct. 2009

The next meeting of COST733 will be the joint MC and WG-meetings in Cyprus 15-17.October. This meeting will cover three full days. The first day will be dedicated to WG-meetings. The second day will be a joint meeting, while the last day again will be dedicated to the WGs.

This meeting will take place at hotel Sun Hall in Larnaca (http://www.sunhallhotel.com/index.html) where we have got a special agreement and price offer. It is important that you follow the instruction given below! The airport is also in Larnaka. The hotel is located by the sea front opposite Larnaka’s Marina. Restaurants, Bars, Shops and interesting sightseeing are within a walking distance (lots of them just by the hotel J).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION BOOKING:

All participants must contact Unica Travel Agency (unica[at]cytanet.com.cy) to make their reservations (do NOT contact the hotel directly!!!), not later than the 15th of May. The prices given below are valid ONLY if each participant stays for at least 2 nights.

	Single inland view room: 75 euro per person per night on Bed & Breakfast
	Double inland view room: 94 euro per room per night on BB

Half board: extra 10 euro per person per day

	Side Sea View: extra 5.50 euro per person per day
	Sea View: extra 9 euro per person per day

General Information

Transportation

There are two ways to get to/from the hotel from/to the airport; either by bus (see Bus_Routes.pdf, page 1: from Larnaka Airport to Larnaka Town), or by taxi (from www.visitcyprus.com à getting to Cyprus à transportation).

For other transports to other towns (Nicosia=Lefkosia, Limassol=Lemesos (you can see these towns called both ways) and Paphos) you may use intercity buses (see Bus_Routes.pdf), or shuttle buses from Larnaka Airport (see Shuttle Buses to Larnaka Airport.pdf).

For people wishing to stay longer in Cyprus and combine the meeting with some holidays, I would advise to rent a car (driving in Cyprus is on the left side of the road).
